The docs.hp.com web site lets you search for, browse, and print
the latest technical documentation for many HP software and hardware
products. To learn more, choose a topic:
How this site is organized
The docs.hp.com web site provides two main ways to access documentation:
By topic area: To see all
manuals available for a particular topic, for example
"Networking and Communications," select the link from the home
page. You then see a page listing all the related manual
titles, alphabetized according to subtopic categories (for example, "NFS Services").
By OS release: To see all
manuals that apply to a particular operating system release,
for example, "HP-UX 11i v2", select a link beneath the "By OS Release"
heading on the home page. You then see a page listing all the related
manual titles available for that release, alphabetized according to
topic categories. A release page includes documentation for the
core operating system plus additional software products
available for a particular release.
Navigating
The docs.hp.com site uses the standard Hewlett-Packard navigation framework, which provides general links to major HP sites across the top of the page, and specific links for the site itself along the left side of the page.
Searching
Enter the search phrase in the search field near the top of
the page. You can restrict your search to a manual, the site, or
all of hp.com using the selection buttons. To find a phrase, enclose it in double quotes. You can use standard Boolean logic syntax (AND, OR, +, -). See Help for search for more details about using the search engine.
