HP ALLBASE/4GL Developer Reference Manual Vol. 1

Database Items Menu 

The database items menu allows you to access the screen used to define
and maintain KSAM data files, serial data files, HP ALLBASE/SQL tables,
HP ALLBASE/SQL select lists, and HP TurboIMAGE/iX data sets.

Menu Selections 

Data File/SQL Table Definition   This selection displays the file/SQL
table definition screen.  This screen allows you to name and define HP
ALLBASE/SQL tables, HP TurboIMAGE/iX data sets, KSAM data files, and
serial data files.

Create File/SQL Table   This selection displays the file/SQL table
creation screen.  This screen allows you to create new HP ALLBASE/SQL
tables and KSAM data files from within HP ALLBASE/4GL.

Reformat Data File   This selection displays the data file reformat
screen, allowing you to reformat an existing KSAM data file.

Delete File/SQL Table   This selection displays the data file/SQL table
deletion screen, allowing you to delete existing HP ALLBASE/SQL tables or
KSAM data files from within HP ALLBASE/4GL.

SQL Select List Details   This selection calls the select list details
screen, allowing you to enter the details of the column definitions for
the select list.

SQL Select List Header   This selection calls the select list header
screen, allowing you to name an HP ALLBASE/SQL select list, and enter a
description of the select list.

Catalog Display   This selection displays the catalog display screen,
allowing you to display the names of existing application components.
Refer to chapter 13 for details.

Function Keys 

f1       Field Specs.    Cancels the current screen and displays the
        fields specifications screen.

f2       Record Header  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        record layout header screen.

f3       Record Details  Cancels the current screen and displays the
        record layout details screen.

f4       Logic Menu  Cancels the current screen and displays the logic
        menu.
