VIRTUAL Statement (Nonexecutable) 

The VIRTUAL statement defines the dimensions and bounds of arrays.

The VIRTUAL statement, which is an extension to the ANSI 77 standard, is
equivalent to the DIMENSION statement.  See "DIMENSION Statement
