HP Predictive Support Events in HP OpenView

The OpenView map in HP System Manager can be customized for a task-based
approach to system management.  A System Manager icon for HP Predictive
Support has been added to this task-based map.  The icon will change
color when any of the managed nodes send a HP Predictive Support event to
System Manager.

Two types of events are sent to the System Manager:

   *   Console prompts requiring a reply from the operator
   *   Copies of events destined for the console or the HP Response
       Center

The color of the icon changes according to the type of event:

   *   Yellow = warning event
   *   Magenta = informational event

Like other System Manager applications, when you click on the Predict 
icon, you will see a list of HP Predictive Support events in the Events 
Browser window, as in Figure 2-2 .

When you click on an event in the Events Browser window, the details are
displayed in a Predict window as shown in Figure 2-3 .
