Systems Supported
The HP Secure Web Console can be connected to any HP 9000 system (HP-UX or
MPE) with an HP 2392-compatible RS-232 console port:
Supported Web Browsers by Platform
Most web browsers that support Java 1.02 and above will work with the Secure Web Console (SWC).
Not all browser and version combinations have been tested.
HP supports only the following browsers and versions on the platforms noted.
On HP-UX 11.0:
- Netscape Communicator 4.61se
On HP-UX 10.20:
- Netscape Navigator 4.08
- Netscape Communicator 4.03
- Netscape Communicator 4.5
On Windows NT 4.0:
- Netscape Navigator 4.08
- Netscape Communicator 4.5 - 4.7
- Internet Explorer 5 with Java VM 5.0
(requires latest patches from Microsoft)
On Windows 95:
- Netscape Communicator 4.03 - 4.04
- Internet Explorer 4.0
On Windows 98:
- Netscape Navigator 4.08
- Netscape Communicator 4.5 - 4.7
