Accessing the system consoleAbout the system consoleThe console is displayed on the HP Secure Web Console as it would be on an HP 2392A terminal. Up to four users can be logged at the console simultaneously. Only one has write access at any given time. The user name underlined in the Users section of the main HP Secure Web Console menu indicates the user who currently has write access. Other logged users can see the console. Getting write access to the consoleUse the Break menu item (or press Control + F12 on your keyboard). The console functionsClose console: This option closes the system console on the browser. Break: This option gives you write access to the console. In/Out: When you first open the console, it appears in the window of the browser. If you would like to customize the size of the console display, click on In/Out. The console will be displayed in a separate window that can be enlarged or made smaller as required. This also enables some local configuration of the terminal. Get History: This option displays the previous 16 Kbytes of console history. If the HP Secure Web Console is reset or returned to factory settings, the history buffer is lost. Use the Stop menu option to visualize the content and then press Stop again to continue scrolling.
