HP Secure Web Console: A Guided Tour

Users

The users currently connected to the HP Secure Web Console are listed here. Up to 4 users can be simultaneously connected. To obtain more information about one of the currently connected users, click on the appropriate name in the "Users" field.

Accessing the console: Up to 4 users can access the console at a given time. However, only the user whose name is underlined has write access to the console.

Changing the configuration of the HP Secure Web Console: Only one user can modify the configuration of the HP Secure Web Console at a given time. Until this user has saved any modifications made, other users are prevented from performing any action related to configuration.

Console

The following console functions are available:

• In/Out
• Get history
• Close console
• Obtain write access to the console

User Accounts

Two different types of user accounts are possible:

Administrators can create new user accounts and modify or delete existing accounts. Up to 10 user accounts can be created on the HP Secure Web Console.

Operators can modify their own account details. They can also read the information in other user accounts.

Configuration

Administrators can view and modify the configuration of the HP Secure Web Console.

Operators can view the configuration. They can only change their own user information and password.
