Upgrading the software on the HP Secure Web Console

Consult your Hewlett-Packard representative to obtain information about accessing upgrade files.

Setting upgrade parameters

When upgrading your HP Secure Web Console software, you will be prompted to enter the following parameters:

Source system IP address: Enter the IP address of the server where the upgrade code is available.

File path: Enter the full file path name of the upgrade file.

Customized login: Enter the login if the upgrade data is not at an anonymous ftp site

Customized password: Enter the login password if the site is not an anonymous ftp site

Upgrading several HP Secure Web Consoles

If you need to upgrade several HP Secure Web Consoles, we recommend that you first copy the upgrade files to a system on your own network and that you perform the upgrade from this system for each HP Secure Web Console.

Notes

You cannot access the HP Secure Web Console while the software is being upgraded. A progress indicator will show when the upgrade is finished.

The configuration of your HP Secure Web Console is not affected by a software upgrade.
