Hewlett-Packard recommends that you always restore HP Patch/iX from the patch tape. This ensures that you are using the most recent version of HP Patch/iX. For installation instructions, refer to section 4.7, "Starting the Patch Management Tools." To check your version of HP Patch/iX, type at the MPE/iX prompt:
