Background |

Prior to the 7.5 release, a maximum of 2600 NS servers could
be created using the nscontrolcommand. With this change the number of simultaneous servers
on MPE/iX 7.5 onwards has increased to 3300. This limit can only
be achieved on systems where the BIGPIN ( greater than 8190 system wide process) enhancement
is enabled.

To increase the maximum number of NS Servers from 2600 to
3300.

Increase the Limit |

Now the nscontrol command can take the maxservers value as 3300. The command
to do it is:
nscontrol server={server type}{,minservers},3300 |
Here, server type can be any of the servers supported by NS
services.
