This Appendix describes how to use HP Stage/iX
in command mode and how to use
STAGEISL
. Most HP Stage/iX functions can be performed through
the command line interface in addition to the HP Patch/iX interface.
Normally, to create, fill, and validate staging areas, use
HP Patch/iX which performs these functions automatically in addition
to qualifying patches. Then to use and permanently apply the files
in a staging area, execute HP Stage/iX commands from the
STAGEMAN
prompt.
