Syntax

   RUN MAKECAT.PUB.SYS

Operation

Use MAKECAT to maintain the following message catalogs:

  • CATALOG.PUB.SYS, which contains system error messages

  • CICAT.PUB.SYS, which contains the Help catalog

  • User-defined catalogs for various applications
