There are four occasions when you are required to start your system:
Use the DUMP utility to perform a memory dump after a system failure or hang, for a recurring system problem, or when the system fails to boot properly. Have the tape analyzed by your Hewlett-Packard applications engineer or the Hewlett-Packard Response Center. To dump memory to tape, perform the following steps:
