Special HP-UX capabilities are not required to invoke ISQL. To execute database access statements, however, you must have the proper ALLBASE/SQL authorization. The authorization required to execute SQL statements is defined in the ALLBASE/SQL Reference Manual. The authorization required to execute ISQL commands that access a database is defined in this manual. You can access files in directories other than your home directory if their HP-UX file mode permits. |
