Use the MIGRATE ALIAS BACKWARD command to change the AliasDB file back to the state prior to the most recent migration.

MIGRATE ALIAS BACKWARD can be abbreviated to MAB.

You must have superuser capability to execute this command.

NETUtil Syntax

  netutil=> MIGRATE ALIAS BACKWARD

Migrate AliasDB file backward (y/n)? { y [es] n [o]}

Description

  • When you use this command the following information is written to the log file, /tmp/hpdamig.log, on the client machine:

    • a timestamp

    • the command name MIGRATE ALIAS BACKWARD

Example

  netutil=> MIGRATE ALIAS BACKWARD



  Migrate AliasDB file backward (y/n)?  y



  AliasDB file migrated backward.
