When you browse to an HP SIM server for the first time using either IE6 or IE7, an SSL certificate warning is displayed that begins, "There is a problem with this website's security certificate." This warning occurs because HP SIM is configured with a self-signed SSL certificate that is generated on the server at the time of HP SIM installation.

IE6 concludes its message with, "Do you want to proceed?"

IE7 concludes its message with, "We recommend that you close this webpage and do not continue to this website."

You need to proceed in both cases. The same level of security exists whether you are using IE6 or IE7, but IE7's warning message uses stronger wording.
