Chapter 9 Upgrading HP Systems Insight Manager from 4.x or later

HP SIM supports upgrading from HP SIM 4.0, 4.1, 4.2 to the current version HP SIM. This chapter provides the steps to upgrading from HP SIM 4.x to HP SIM 5.x.

	NOTE: The "\" at the end of each command line indicates that the rest of the command is on the next line. Before beginning the HP SIM upgrade, verify that your user name and password to access to the database are valid.
