Rapid Deployment Pack required information

To use an existing Rapid Deployment Pack server in your environment, you must have the following information:

  • IP address

  • Account name

  • Password

  • Domain (if any)

If you do not have an existing Rapid Deployment Pack server, you can install an Rapid Deployment Pack server using the Insight Software integrated installer.

SMTP required information

You must have an SMTP server configured for your environment in order for Insight Orchestration's embedded Operations Orchestrations workflows to send email approval, manual action, and status change requests. The Insight Software integrated installer does not set up an SMTP server for you. You must provide the following information during the configuration process:

  • IP address

  • Port number (typically 25)

  • SMTP server requires authentication (if required):

    • Username

    • Password

The Insight Software integrated installer does not test your SMTP information. Be sure to verify that the SMTP information you have is accurate. You can test your settings by using the information to send an email. If the email is successful, then your settings are correct.
