My resources do not show up in Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool. Resources are added to Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool when Insight Orchestration recognizes they are available in your system and are configured correctly. Every hour, Insight Orchestration discovers and updates the available resources. Recently added resources are only available in the Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool after one to two hours (depending on the discovery process of the other products you are using, such as VMM and Insight Dynamics — VSE.)

If recently added resources do not display in the Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool after an hour, Insight Orchestration might have communication issues with Insight Dynamics — VSE or VMM. Review Insight Orchestration event information to determine if Insight Orchestration is reporting Insight Dynamics — VSE or VMM communication failures. If there are any failures, you must fix these issues to correctly add resources to the Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool.
How do I troubleshoot communication failures?
Verify that the Virtual Center credentials are correct on HP SIM.
Verify that the virtual machine hosts are correctly registered to VMM usage and are not reporting issues on HP SIM
Verify that Insight Dynamics — VSE is correctly displaying the resources (physical or virtual.)
Verify that you have added the Onboard Administrator credentials to enclosure node on HP SIM
Fix any communication issues and then wait for the next synchronization cycle. The resources should display correctly in the Insight Orchestration Unassigned Pool.
