Configuring the Rapid Deployment Pack server for node discovery

To configure Rapid Deployment Pack for automatic node discovery:

1. Launch the Insight Orchestration management console.

2. Select ToolsPXE Configuration.

3. Verify that the Next Device (BIOS/EFI) option is the first PXE boot menu option. If it is not the first option, use the Up and Down buttons to rearrange the PXE boot options.

4. Select the DS tab.

5. Set Default boot option to Linux Managed.

6. Set Boot option for unknown computer to Linux Managed (auto-select).

7. Click OK.

   Updating these settings enables new Rapid Deployment Pack server nodes to boot as Linux Managed and complete the discovery process.
