The HP-UX 11i Operating Environments consist of the HP-UX
operating system, a set of “always installed” applications
(the “environment”), and a collection of additional applications
and drivers that you can selectively install. The HP-UX 11i release
is available in one of the following Operating Environments (OEs):
You can choose the HP-UX 11i Operating Environment that is
best suited for your computing environment. Although there are five
OEs available, only one can be installed and operate on your HP
9000 server or workstation. The application contents of the HP-UX
11i Operating Environments are shown below:

installed with the Operating Environments. They are available as
