Although the ttytype command has been enhanced to support the N4000 and rp7400 console,
there are no user-visible changes in the behavior of the command.
However, a new ioctl()call has been added to the command to query the Guardian Service
Processor (GSP) console driver for the TERM identity. If the ioctl()call fails, ttytype will continue with the existing terminal identification
process.
For more information on the GSP, see “Service Processor
(GSP or MP)” earlier in this chapter. For information on
the ttytype command, see the ttytype(1) manpage.
