Java RMI transactions can be encrypted
using the IP Security Protocol (IPSec) to increase security on RMI
transactions. IPSec provides an infrastructure
to allow secure communications including authentication, integrity,
and confidentiality over IP-based networks between systems and devices
that implement the IPSec family of protocol standards. HP provides
an IPSec software package for the HP-UX operating system. This product
allows the encrypted/confidential use of DTF tools and X applications running
on the managed nodes from the CMS.
