The following features are yet to be implemented:

  • Asynchronous Request Handling

  • Incremental Registration

  • Authentication

  • UTF-8 support

  • SLPv1 interoperability

The following features have not been tested:

  • Predicate support

Divergence from RFC 2614

Allows scopelist to be NULL or empty string

Configuration Parameters

The following configuration parameters are not supported in this release of SLP:

  • net.slp.serializedRegURL

  • net.slp.multicastTimeouts

  • net.slp.DADiscoveryTimeouts

  • net.slp.datagramTimeouts

    NOTE: This version of SLP is a beta patch.
