The management API is the OA&M (Operations, Administration and Maintenance API. This API provides functions for the development and deployment of SS7 Stack and platform management applications. The OA&M APIs are provided for each SS7 Stack level (MTP, SCCP and TCAP). They allow applications to access and use the SS7 management functions such as node configuration, control and surveillance. See Chapter 11 “Using the OA&M API” for a full description. |
