Generic Components

These components are independent of the software version. They include

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP API

This C++ interface provides a single abstract programming view of the HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP library. It provides an application with objects and methods to create ISUP messages with their associated parameters, and access the network via an HP OpenCall SS7 stack to exchange signaling information.

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP Supported Messages

These are the ISUP messages supported by the HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP library. They are represented by the API as a set of C++ object classes known as message classes. These message classes provide specific interfaces to build and access individual parameters found in each message.

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP core

This component contains several sub-components concerning internal HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP information, handling, decoding/encoding and direct MTP3 access.

Version-Specific Components

These components affect the behavior of API objects. They include:

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP State- machines

This component provides the ISUP behavior defined by the ANSI or ITU-T standards

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP Metadata

This component determines the behavior of the HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP Supported Messages when they are manipulated by an application. It contains the internal structure of those messages defined the ANSI or ITU-T standards. This component can be customized using the HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP Message Customization Package

  • HP OpenCall SS7 ISUP Circuit Manager

This component manages the state of the circuits manipulated by the state-machines.
