In this example, an Exit message comes from a gateway in the network. Because it is significant during the call setup only, it is transmitted to the application, through an EXIT_IND, only if the CPC status is wait-for-answer(3) or wait-for-address-complete(2). The application can use it to generate timing indications. No response is expected on the network side. |
