In addition to the graphical tools listed above, a number
of command line tools are provided with HP OpenCall SS7. Some are complementary
to the graphical tools, providing additional functions. Others provide
an alternative way to carry out the same tasks. In general, if both
a graphical and a command line tool exists, use the graphical tools,
as they provide more rigorous consistency checking and security.
Use the command line version only if the graphical tools are unavailable,
or if you need to work in batch mode.
You can use almost all of the commands as a member of the
group ocadmin. Exceptions are noted in the Comment
column.
For detailed information on all of the commands listed in
this section, refer to the man pages.
