Validating SNMP TCAP Agent means checking that SNMP TCAP Agent has been configured and it has been activated.

There is one SNMP TCAP Agent per stack (className).

This feature is optional and not activated by default.

Checking That the SNMP TCAP Agent Has Been Configured

To check that the SNMP TCAP Agent has been configured for the selected stack (className), you must:

To check that the SNMP TCAP Agent is active for a selected stack (className), you must:

  • Check that the SNMP TCAP Agent is running.

    You can do this as follows:

    ps -ef | grep ss7TcapSnmpAgent | grep <className>
