Hardware Enablement Program

The Hardware Enablement (HWE) Program updates the content in the HWEnable11i Patch Bundle, the HP-UX Support Tools (Online Diagnostics), and other HP-UX software to support hardware on HP systems with an HP-UX 11i v2 Operating Environment (OE). The HWEnable11i bundle and the HP-UX Support Tools provide support for new and future systems, I/O adapters, and mass-storage products. This HP-UX software is labeled as required, ignited on new systems in HP manufacturing, and automatically loaded as part of any 11i v2 OE update.

In addition to the HP-UX 11i v2 OE media, the HWEnable11i bundle is available at the IT Resource Center (http://itrc.hp.com) and at HP Software Depot (http://software.hp.com).

- AB352A Core 1000Base-T Dual-Port card for the rx4640 server
Updated install kernels for HP-UX boot support for above I/O adapters.
