Use the mip6config commands described in this section to configure the mip6mod General parameters. Refer to “mip6mod General Parameters” for a description of each parameter. The mip6mod General parameters include the following:

  • Logging Level

  • Number of mip6mod Instances

Configuring mip6mod General Parameters: configure general

Use the configure general command to configure mip6mod General parameters in Novice Mode.

Abbreviated:

co[nfigure] g[eneral]

Syntax:

configure general

Example:

mip6config> configure general
Log Level (warn): alert
Num mip6mod Instances (1): 1

Listing mip6mod General Parameters: list general

Use the list general command to list mip6mod General parameters.

Abbreviated:

l[ist] g[eneral]

Syntax:

list general

Example:

mip6config> list general

GENERAL PARAMETERS
**********************************************************************
Log Level: alert
Num mip6mod Instances: 1

Deleting mip6mod General Parameters: delete general

Use the delete general command to delete mip6mod General parameters. This command sets the General parameters as unconfigured (i.e., empty) by “commenting” the value in the configuration file. You must confirm you want to delete the General parameters when prompted.

Abbreviated:

d[elete] g[eneral]

Syntax:

delete general

Example:

mip6config> delete general
Clear all general parameters (yes/no)? (yes):
