Use the mip6config commands described in this section to configure the mip6mod Error Rate Parameters. Refer to “mip6mod Error Rate Parameters” for a description of each parameter. The mip6mod Error Rate parameters include the following:

  • Error Rate Threshold

  • Max. Rate Limit

  • Min. Rate Limit

Configuring mip6mod Error-Rate Parameters: configure error-rates

Use the configure error-rates command to configure mip6mod Error Rate parameters in Novice Mode.

Abbreviated:

co[nfigure] e[rror-rates]

Syntax:

configure error-rates

Example:

mip6config> configure error-rates
Error Rate Threshold (10): 25
Max Error Rate (75): 250
Min Error Rate (1000): 500

Listing mip6mod Error Rate Parameters: list error-rates

Use the list error-rates command to display mip6mod Error Rate parameters.

Abbreviated:

l[ist] e[rror-rates]

Syntax:

list error-rates

Example:

                         ERROR RATE PARAMETERS
**********************************************************************
Error Rate Threshold: 25
Max Error Rate: 250
Min Error Rate: 500

Deleting mip6mod Error Rate Limit Parameters: delete error-rates

Use the delete error-rates command to delete mip6mod Error Rate parameters. This command sets the mip6mod Error Rate parameters as unconfigured (i.e., empty) by “commenting” the value in the configuration file. You must confirm you want to delete the Error Rate parameters when prompted.

Abbreviated:

d[elete] e[rror-rates]

Syntax:

delete error-rates

Example:

mip6config> delete error-rates
Clear all error rate parameters (yes/no)? (yes): yes
