Install HP Systems Insight Manager:
swinstall -x autoselect_dependencies=FALSE
-s /directory/depot T2414BA
where directory is the path to the depot file and depot is the name
of the depot file. For example:
swinstall -x autoselect_dependencies=FALSE
-s /tmp/HPSIM_download.depot T2414BA
Note: The upgrade to HP Systems Insight
Manager 4.2 uses the existing ixPostgreSQL version 7.3.1. The HP Systems Insight
Manager depot contains version 7.4.2 for new installations. HP Systems Insight
Manager is compatible with both versions of the database.
Note: After the last step completes,
view the file /var/opt/mx/logs/initconfig.log to
verify that the initialization completed. This step could take several minutes.
You can also entertail -f /var/opt/mx/logs/initconfig.log to verify that the initialization completed.
