NOTE: If you currently have Serviceguard Manager installed on an HP Systems Insight Manager 4.0.1 or 4.1 system or HP Servicecontrol Manager (SCM) and upgrade to HP Systems Insight Manager 4.2, some of the Serviceguard Manager files are overwritten, which disables Serviceguard Manager. Therefore, HP recommends renaming or copying the following files and directories before upgrading the CMS and renaming or copying them back to their original locations after the upgrade is complete.
  • Rename or copy the directory named sgmgr, which can be located at /opt/hpwebadmin/webapps on HP-UX and Linux or at \Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\ webapps on a Windows CMS.

  • Rename or copy any files that start with sgmgrLauncher.properties, which can be located at /opt/hpwebadmin/lib on HP-UX and Linux or at \Program Files\HP\Systems Insight Manager\hpwebadmin\lib on a Windows CMS.
