This task applies to anyone who is installing HP XC System Software Version 3.0 on a system that is installed with an older version of the HP XC System Software. If you are performing a new installation on new hardware, skip this task. Before performing a new installation on an existing HP XC system using the procedures described in this document, HP recommends that you perform the following tasks:
