Selectable Networking Drivers

The following table lists networking drivers that are not automatically installed, but can be selected during installation. The drivers in this table support hardware cards that have been released. In the remainder of this section, you will find details about changes to these drivers and to other drivers that do not yet support cards that have been released.

PCIMUX-00

The HP AD278A/AD279A PCI MUX is a high-speed serial communication multiple port product. It combines various signals for transmission over a single channel, and provides intelligent communication functions to off-load CPU serial communication processing tasks.

Summary of Change

The PCIMUX-00 driver bundle, which delivers the pci_mux1 driver, has been added to the HP-UX 11i v2 Operating Environments to support the AD278A and AD279A cards.




	NOTE: The installation of this driver bundle requires the `insf` patch. This patch is automatically selected when updating an existing system with the PCIMUX-00 driver.
