Always-Installed Mass Storage Drivers |

The following table lists mass storage drivers that are automatically installed and which support hardware cards that have been released. In the remainder of this section, you will find details about changes to these drivers and to other drivers that do not yet support cards that have been released. The FibrChanl-01 bundle delivers the fcd driver, which supports the A6826A, A9782A, A9784A, AB465A, AB378A, and AB379A cards. The FibrChanl-01 bundle containing the fcd driver has been updated with quality and diagnostic improvements. This kind of information will be detailed in the support documentation as well as pertinent supported server and storage documents. The RAID-01 bundle delivers the driver ciss, for the A9890A, A9891A, and A7143A cards. The RAID-01 bundle containing the ciss driver has been updated with quality and diagnostic improvements and defect fixes. This kind of information will be detailed in the A9890A, A9891A, and A7143A documentation as well as pertinent supported server and storage documents. Navigate to I/O Cards and Networking Software, then to Smart Array (RAID). The scsiU320-00 bundle delivers the driver MPT for the A7173A card. The scsiU320-00 bundle containing the MPT driver has been updated with quality and diagnostic improvements for Ultra320 SCSI solutions. For details, review the support documentation available at http://www.docs.hp.com. Navigate to I/O Cards and Networking Software, then to SCSI Host Bus Adapters. Customers will be able to run supported Ultra320 SCSI solutions (core IO and add-in cards) and utilize supported Ultra320 capable storage. This kind of information will be detailed in the A7173A HBA documentation as well as pertinent supported server and storage documents. Navigate to I/O Cards and Networking Software, then to SCSI Host Bus Adapters. The SerialSCSI-00 bundle delivers the driver sasd. The CommonIO bundle, currently a common library for SerialSCSI-00, contains infrastructure components for SerialSCSI-00. The SerialSCSI-00 driver bundle has been updated with quality improvements. The CommonIO bundle has been updated with packaging changes. As new cards are released, documentation will be available at http://docs.hp.com (navigate to I/O Cards and Networking Software). The USB-00 product, version C.01.04.01, supports HP USB keyboards and mice. It enables DVD boot support for HP blade servers, model number BL60p. USB-00, version C.01.04.00, includes quality improvements from the previous release, C.01.03.01. USB-00 now supports the A6869A and A6869B cards. This USB product will not be compatible with any application that accesses human interface devices (HID) through the legacy HID device special files in /dev/hid. The device-special files for USB-00 are located in /dev/deviceFileSystem. Mouse and keyboard device files are accessible through the device files /dev/deviceFileSystem/mouseMux and /dev/deviceFileSystem/keyboardMux, respectively.
