Task 13: Create a Lock LUN Device File

Perform this task only if you configured improved availability of services under Serviceguard. Bypass this task if you are not using Serviceguard or if you have not configured a lock LUN to achieve quorum.

If you have used a lock LUN to achieve quorum on one or more availability sets, create the device file on the second node in the appropriate availability sets. In the following example, /dev/sdb1 is the full path to the disk and partition of the lock LUN on the first disk; run the following command on the second disk, specifying the same disk and partition number:

# fdisk -R /dev/sdb1
