Use the managedb restore command to restore the CMDB from a backup file.

The following commands display the name of the backup file in the /var/hptc/database directory and restore the CMDB from the backup file found there:

# ls /var/hptc/database/cmdbbackup-*.sql
/var/hptc/database/cmdbbackup-datetimestamp.sql
# managedb restore /var/hptc/database/cmdbbackup-datetimestamp.sql
