The HP Software Inventory Provider returns information about installed RPMs on the system, based on the information in the RPM database for both RHEL and SLES. The Software Inventory Provider implements all mandatory description classes, properties and methods defined in the DMTF Software Inventory Profile, DSP1023. In addition, this provider implements some optional classes, properties and methods defined in the DMTF Software Inventory Profile and HP specific classes and properties, defined below.
