Each HP-UX 11i release has an associated release name and
release identifier. The uname(1) command with the -r option
returns the release identifier. The following table shows the releases
currently available for HP-UX 11i.

You can also determine the update release date and the Operating
Environment by entering the following:
# swlist | grep HPUX11i
The resulting output will list the current release identifier,
update release date, and Operating Environment. For example:
HPUX11i-TCOE B.11.23.0403 HP-UX Technical Computing Operating Environment Component
In the above, the revision string shows:
B.11.23 = HP-UX 11i v2
0403 = March 2004 Update Release
