remote_nfs_swap
remote_nfs_swap enables or disables the ability of the
system to perform swap to NFS-mounted devices or file systems.
This capability was originally designed for use in NFS clusters which are no longer supported. It probably is not very useful for other applications, but the capability of accessing NFS-mounted swap space has not been specifically removed. See additional explanations below.

Use remote_nfs_swap to enable or disable the ability of the
system to perform swap to NFS-mounted devices or file systems. The
default value of zero disables NFS swap. To enable, change the value to
1.
This parameter was initially created to allow clients in an NFS cluster to use disk space on the server for swap. NFS clusters are no longer supported on HP-UX systems, and this parameter is set to zero by default (remote NFS swap not allowed). Setting this parameter to allow remote NFS swap is not very useful unless the system where it is allowed has extremely fast NFS capabilities.
