Table 2-3. InfiniBand Interconnect Port Identifiers
Identifier Element  Definition  Back
I The generic name for the InfiniBand interconnect.  TOC
Rx  Rail number. The first PCI host-bus adapter in the node is rail 0. In dual rail configurations, the rails are designated R0 and R1.
S SMB in a spine interconnect.
L SMB in a leaf interconnect.
-CTRL-A  Indicates which controller contains the destination port for the cable link. Some types of interconnect might contain two controllers, designated A and B.
-0.1 Indicates the physical 10/100–base/T port on the controller. Quadrics controllers contain clock (CLK-IN) ports with a format similar to the RJ-45 networking port. Ensure that you always use the port labeled 10/100.
NOTE:         At the time of publication, dual-rail configurations are not supported for InfiniBand interconnects.
