The following menu options are displayed when you initiate the cluster_config utility:

[L]ist Nodes, [M]odify Nodes, [A]nalyze, [H]elp, [P]roceed, [Q]uit:

Table G-1 describes each menu option. To select an option, enter the letter shown in brackets. Entries are not case sensitive.

[L]ist Nodes

Displays the current system configuration.

“Displaying Node Configuration Information”
[M]odify Nodes

Enables you to modify node role assignments and external Ethernet connections on any node.

“Modifying a Node”
[A]nalyze

Verifies the current node role assignments with settings recommended by HP. HP recommends exercising this option every time you run the cluster_config utility, even when you are configuring the system for the first time.

“Analyzing Current Role Assignments Against HP Recommendations”
[H]elp

Displays a usage statement.

 
[P]roceed

Commits the role assignments and applies them to the configuration and management database the first time you select it. Then, you are prompted to customize services contained in specific roles. The second time you select this option, any changes you made to the default configuration are applied to the configuration and management database and system services are configured.

“Customize Service and Client Configurations”
[Q]uit

Exits the cluster_config utility without populating the configuration and management database and configuring services on the system.
