The cluster_prep Command

You are prompted to specify the node naming prefix; the default (the letter n) has not changed. In previous releases, you had the option to change the default node naming prefix by manually editing the /opt/hptc/config/base_addr.ini file.

You are prompted to specify the external Ethernet device to use as the external network device on the head node. In previous releases, this information was requested during the Kickstart installation process.
