Required Task: Delete crash RPM on Opteron-based Systems |

This note applies only to systems with an Opteron-based chip architecture (for example, CP4000 systems). The crash RPM that was delivered in the HP XC Version 2.x release causes RPM upgrade conflict errors during the upgrade from HP XC Version 2.x to Version 3.0. Therefore, you must run the following command immediately after you run the preupgradesys script on your Version 2.x system to manually remove the crash RPM:
