Enabling 32–bit Applications To Compile and Run

To compile and run 32-bit applications on a system running HP XC System Software on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 on HP Integrity platforms, use the following commands to install the glibc-2.3.4-2.25.i686.rpm from the HP XC distribution media DVD:

# mount /dev/cdrom
# cd /mnt/cdrom/LNXHPC/RPMS 
# rpm -ivh glibc-2.3.4-2.25.i686.rpm
