Configuring LUN 0

For a disk array that is in a multi-host environment, the SCSI standard requires a LUN 0 in certain scenarios:

If the disk array is connected to the A6829A adapter, and you plan to boot from that array, the disk array must be configured as LUN 0. Do not configure the LUN with any LUN security (that is, do not restrict access).
If the disk array is connected to an A6829A adapter installed in an HP-UX system that is running from a separate boot disk, the disk array must be configured with LUN 0; otherwise, the ioscan command will not detect all of the LUNs present in the disk array.
