Installing the Pedestal Kit Right Side Piece

The pedestal kit right side piece attaches to the bottom of the server. The bottom of the Office Friendly server does not have ventilation holes in it, and the right side piece of the pedestal kit does not have ventilation holes in it. Follow these steps to attach the pedestal kit right side piece.




	IMPORTANT: Ensure the pedestal kit piece that you are installing onto the right side of the pedestal (the bottom of the server) does not have ventilation holes in it.




	NOTE: The allen wrench may interfere with installing the pedestal kit right side piece. Rotate the allen wrench away from the pedestal kit right side piece to ensure it doesn't interfere with the installation.

Align the posts on the pedestal kit right side piece with the slots in the pedestal kit top and bottom.
Hold the pedestal side flush against the server and slide it toward the front of the server (1). See Figure 2-6.

Secure the pedestal side by hand tightening the captive thumb screws on the rear of the server.
