This manual describes tasks required for configuring and administering an HP-
UX system as a C-2 level trusted system. This manual is for system
administrators with superuser privilege and should be restricted to those with
the proper authority.
This manual is written assuming that you are familiar with HP-UX system
administration including using standard system commands, the System
Administration Manager (SAM), system and device installation, system
configuration, managing users, and performing routine maintenance tasks. This
information is covered in HP-UX System Administration Tasks (B2355-
90079) and the online HP-UX man pages.
The section "HP-UX C-Level Security Trusted Facility Documentation" in Chapter
1 of this manual describes additional documentation that you may need.
